Join us for the MEMORIAL WALK - Bastogne, Belgium

13th December 2008

Honoring the 327th Glider Infantry Regiment

the BASTOGNE BULLDOGS

Registration and payment through www.bastognehistoricalwalk.be

64 years ago, on December 16th, 1944 the Battle of the Bulge - the greatest land battle in the history of the American Army - began.

This years walk will take us through the area around Mande-Saint-Etienne, west of Bastogne, where the soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division
jumped out of open army trucks on the 19th December 1944 in order to immediately march off to the different areas around
Bastogne which were threatened by the Germans.

Three routes are available: 7, 13 or 20 kilometers.
Registration and payment ONLY through the official organisation at www.bastognehistoricalwalk.be

This year, as the Memorial Walk honors the 101 Airborne Division's 327th Glider Infantry Regiment, we intend to give the Walk a special twist,
since our American Member of the Board, Joseph M. Bossi, will be attending.

Joe is the present Honorary CSM of the 327th Infantry Regiment, and DMOR (Distinguished Member of the Regiment). With the regiment
presently in Iraq, Joe is the person who takes care of the grieving families of those members of the regiment who are killed in action by
attending every memorial service on behalf of the regiment. In order to show our support to Joe, who represents all former and present
enlisted men of the 327th Infantry Regiment, we invite you to join us on the Memorial Walk.

We intend to get a nice group together. So, DO THE WALK and NOT JUST THE TALK, and join us.
Send an email to the webmaster and we will let you in on our plans!
